The causes and analysis of sticking are as follows:
1. The surface of the punch is damaged or the surface finish is reduced. There may also be anti-rust oil or lubricating oil, the surface of the new die is rough, or the engraving is too deep and angular.
Solution: Wipe the punch clean, replace the die that does not meet the specifications, or use a small amount of liquid paraffin to rub the surface of the engraving punch to lubricate the lettering.
In addition, if the sticking is caused by mechanical heating, the cause should be checked and the equipment should be repaired.
2. The engraving and punching character design is unreasonable.
Solution: Replace the punch or change the character design accordingly.
3. The particles have too much water content or the particles are unevenly dry and wet, causing sticking.
Solution: Control the moisture content of the particles to about 2%-3%, and strengthen the inspection of dry particles.
4. Insufficient amount of lubricant or improper selection, too much fine powder.
Solution: Appropriately increase the amount of lubricant or replace with new lubricant, remove excessive fine powder.
5. The fineness of raw materials and auxiliary materials varies greatly, resulting in uneven mixing or improper mixing time.
Solution: Crush and sieve the raw materials and auxiliary materials to make their fineness meet the quality requirements of the variety, and at the same time master and control the mixing time.
6. The adhesive concentration is low or the adhesive quality causes poor adhesion, and there are too many fine powders (more than 10%) and sticking.
Solution: Use a 40-mesh screen to sieve out the fine powder, re-granulate, dry, and granulate, mix the whole batch evenly, and then press the tablets.
7. Sticking is caused by the raw materials themselves (such as hygroscopicity).
Solution: Add a certain amount of absorbent (such as 3% calcium hydrogen phosphate) to avoid sticking.
8. The ambient humidity is too high.
Solution: Reduce the ambient humidity.
9. The operating room temperature is too high, which is prone to sticking.
Solution: Pay attention to lowering the operating room temperature.
