Classification of pharmaceutical equipment

National and industry standards are divided into eight categories according to the basic properties of pharmaceutical equipment products:

1. API machinery and equipment. Process equipment and machinery that realizes the transformation of biological and chemical substances and uses animals, plants and minerals to produce pharmaceutical raw materials.

2. Preparation machinery. Machinery and equipment that make drugs into various dosage forms.

3. Medicinal crushing machinery. Machinery used for drug crushing (including grinding) and meeting the requirements of drug production.

4. Decoction piece machinery. Machinery that selects, washes, moisturizes, cuts, bakes, stir-fries, forges and other methods to prepare Chinese medicine pieces from natural medicinal animals, plants and minerals.

5. Pharmaceutical water equipment. Equipment that uses various methods to prepare pharmaceutical water.

6. Pharmaceutical packaging machinery. Machinery and equipment that completes the drug packaging process and is related to the packaging process.

7. Required testing equipment. Instruments and equipment for testing the quality of various pharmaceutical products and finished products.

8. Other pharmaceutical machinery and equipment. Relevant machinery and equipment for performing non-main pharmaceutical processes.
