In China, by 1949, Shanghai Tianxiang Huaji Iron Factory imitated the British 33-punch tablet press;
In 1951, the American 16-punch tablet press was transformed into a domestic 18-punch tablet press, which was the earliest pharmaceutical machinery manufactured in China;
In 1957, the ZP25-4 tablet press was designed and manufactured;
In 1960, the 60-30 tablet press was successfully designed and manufactured by itself, which has the functions of automatic rotation and tablet pressing. The varieties pressed include tablets, sugar tablets, calcium tablets, coffee tablets, etc. In the same year, the ZP33 and ZP19 tablet presses were also designed and manufactured.
In the 1970s, Shanghai No. 1 Pharmaceutical Machinery Factory (the predecessor of Shanghai Tianxiang) and Shandong Medical Equipment Factory, as designated manufacturers of tablet presses, mass-produced ZP series tablet presses. During the "Seventh Five-Year Plan" period, the HZP26 high-speed tablet press of the 206th Institute of the Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics was successfully developed.
In 1980, Shanghai No. 1 Pharmaceutical Machinery Factory designed and manufactured the ZP-21W tablet press, which reached the international advanced level in the early 1980s and was the first domestic product.
In 1987, the microcomputer control technology of Fette Company of Federal Germany was introduced to design and manufacture the P3100-37 rotary tablet press, which has the functions of automatic control of tablet weight, pressure, automatic tablet counting, automatic removal of waste tablets, etc. The closed structure is tight and the purification level meets the GMP requirements.
In 1997, Shanghai Tianxiang Jiantai Pharmaceutical Machinery Co., Ltd. developed the ZP100 series rotary tablet press and the GZPK100 series high-speed rotary tablet press.
Entering the 21st century, with the deepening of GMP certification, ZP series rotary tablet presses that fully comply with GMP have appeared one after another: ZP35A in Shanghai, ZP35D in Liaocheng, Shandong, etc. High-speed rotary tablet presses have made great progress in production, pressure signal acquisition, and waste rejection technologies. The maximum production is generally greater than 300,000 tablets/hour, the maximum pre-pressure is 20kN, and the maximum main pressure is 80kN or 100kN or more. For example, the GZPLS-620 series high-speed rotary tablet press of Beijing Sinopharm Longli Technology Co., Ltd., the GZPK3000 series high-speed rotary tablet press of Shanghai Tianxiang Jiantai Pharmaceutical Machinery Co., Ltd., and the PG50 series high-speed rotary tablet press of Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Manufacturing Engineering.
With the improvement of manufacturing and processing technology, automation control technology, and various special needs of tablet press manufacturers, various special-purpose tablet presses have also appeared. For example, ZP-5 7 9 rotary tablet press for laboratory use, dry powder rotary tablet press for dry powder tableting, and explosion-proof ZPYG51 series rotary tablet press for gunpowder tablets.
1. Tablet presses have many specifications and large quantities. Tablet press is the pharmaceutical equipment with the longest production history in my country, and it is also the earliest and largest exporter. It can press round tablets, engraved tablets, special-shaped tablets, double-layer tablets, multi-layer tablets, ring-shaped tablets, packaged tablets and other tablet types. The number, variety and specifications of tablet press manufacturers and their output are all ranked first in the world.
2. In recent years, tablet press manufacturers have begun to pay attention to product quality and believe in the business philosophy of "winning by quality". The tablet press products they have developed have the characteristics of simple operation and convenient and fast cleaning, especially when changing varieties, the site can be cleared quickly and conveniently.
3. Low technical content and insufficient technological innovation. More than 40 domestic pharmaceutical equipment companies produce tablet presses of more than 60 varieties and specifications. Although new products are constantly launched every year, there are very few varieties with high technical level and high added value. Product duplication is serious and plagiarism is prevalent. In order to survive, many small-scale pharmaceutical equipment companies not only adopt an "imitation" strategy in technological innovation, but some manufacturers even rely entirely on plagiarizing other people's technology as their own technological "innovation". In order to compete for orders, they often resort to price-cutting measures. Because of the low brand loyalty, these brands will suffer more after the price war, which will inevitably lead to the overall decline of the design and manufacturing level of tablet presses in my country.
The vast majority of enterprises in my country are private enterprises, and they do not have advantages in technology, equipment, talents, etc., which seriously restricts the technological innovation of enterprises. Some enterprises lack R&D institutions, have an imperfect innovation system, lack technical innovation awareness, have weak overall technical strength, and update scientific research and production technology equipment very slowly. What is most noteworthy is that the scientific and technological talents of the entire industry are in a "shortage" stage. It can be said that the talent crisis is spreading throughout the industry.
